 If you have tons of slides, like me, you might be in the market for printer that can scan your slides and give you some good results without breaking the bank. The Epson Perfection V700 is the one that I chose, and I have been pleased with the quality that it delivers. I have gotten good color and images even on some of the warped slides when I scanned them using the Epson V700.

It is the combination of reliability, convenience and low cost that makes the v700 such a great choice in my book. I am able to scan the shots with the software and then I go to Photoshop to make those higher end color adjustments. This lets me make sure that each of my prints go from great to spectacular. To my surprise and delight the V700 Perfection has consistently given me better results than I got at the local photo lab.

One of the best features of the Epson Perfection V700 is that the setup and installation can be done in a matter of minutes. With the V700 scanner it really is just about as simple as 1-2-3. If you can open a box and plug in a driver you can have the Epson Perfection V700 operating without calling in reinforcements.

I have not been able to master the automated dust removal feature that is part of the Epson Perfection V700 package. However I prefer to do this part by hand, maybe because I am such a perfectionist at heart. This “touch-up”  step simply doesn’t take me long to do and I can make sure that it is done to my own standards. Then I can save my final results to a jpg file.

The prints I am getting as a result of using the V700 have good color and focus, but some of the darker prints can use a little additional care. To handle this I use smart sharpening and manipulate the colors to get the great looking results that keep me smiling. I am sure that you will discover that this low priced Epson V700 Perfection scanner will deliver some prints that will put a big smile on your own face.

When you are ready to load the Epson V700 Perfection scanner and put it to work its speed won’t disappoint you. Depending on your computer you can download about a dozen prints in about 30-45 minutes. The slide loader on the Epson V700 Perfection scanner is also easy to manipulate. I have found that loading and unloading are easy to do, even though I have pretty big hands. The holder that comes with the Epson V700 Perfection photo color scanner needs to be handled with care because it is made out of plastic and you don’t want to break it.
